Suzanne Pleshette

 

Suzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, passed away on January 19 2008. She was an American actress, voiceactor, television, film and theatre director. Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and was a part of films in the 1950s and later. Later, she appeared in films that were notable, such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). In the following years, she was a part of numerous television shows and often played the role of a guest. She was Emily Hartley from 1972 to 1978 on the Bob Newhart show, for which she was awarded a number of Emmy Award nominations.
